“Today, I formally declare my intention to seek another mandate to represent the good people of Zaria Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives.

“This declaration is not based on promises alone. It is based on work. It is based on results. It is based on a record that our people can see and verify,” he stated.

According to him, his approach to leadership has focused on ensuring that governance translates into practical improvements in the lives of constituents.

“When you first entrusted me with this responsibility, I made a commitment that representation would not be distant from the people.

The Speaker also described himself as one of the country’s most active lawmakers, revealing that he had sponsored 74 bills, with 21 already signed into law.

“These were not efforts designed for publicity. They were aimed at solving problems and strengthening governance,” he said.

Highlighting some of his interventions, Abbas said support had been provided to farmers through the distribution of tractors, fertilisers and other agricultural equipment to boost productivity and livelihoods.

He further stated that transport operators, youth groups, community leaders, party structures and small business owners benefitted from tricycles and motorcycles distributed to enhance mobility and economic activities.
