The All Progressive Congress (APC) in Ogun state has adopted Senator Solomon Adeola Olamilekan as the consensus candidate for the 2027 gubernatorial election
The decision was made during the party strategic caucus meeting held Monday, at the party secretariat, in Abeokuta, the state capital.
The governor, Dapo Abiodun while declaring the decision of the consensus candidate stated that the decision is aimed at harmonising the party, devoid of anti party acrimony as it prepared towards the 2027 general election.
Olamilekan is a serving senator in the 10th Senate and National Assembly.
