A video showing some residents of Oyo State chanting in support of the All Progressives Congress (APC) after receiving sachets of Semovita at an outreach event has sparked reactions online.
The video, shared on X on Tuesday, showed residents holding 1kg sachets of Semovita while declaring support for APC ahead of the 2027 elections.
In the clip, some residents were heard chanting in support of APC.
The video has since generated reactions on social media, with users criticising the development and describing it as poverty being used to gain political support.
