Ondo Govt Dissolves Boards of Key Parastatals, Commissions

The Ondo State Government has dissolved the boards of several parastatals and commissions in the state following the expiration of their tenure.

In a statement issued on Tuesday by the Chief Press Secretary to Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, Prince Ebenezer Adeniyan, the government announced the immediate dissolution of the affected boards and commissions following the expiration of their tenure.

Those affected are:

• Ondo State Universal Basic Education Board

• Ondo State Local Government Service Commission

• Ondo State Muslim Welfare Board

• Ondo State Christian Welfare Board

Also affected are the Education Secretaries across all 18 Local Government Areas in the state, whose tenure has equally expired.

The statement directed all affected chairmen, commissioners, board members, and education secretaries to hand over to the most senior administrative officers in their respective offices.

Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa expressed appreciation to the affected officials for their service and contributions to the development of the state during their tenure.
