Prince Kenny Adekanmi, popularly known as Kenny Kunma, has emerged as the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) House of Representatives candidate for Okitipupa/Irele Federal Constituency ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The development ends months of speculation over the political platform the philanthropist would adopt for his bid to represent Okitipupa/Irele Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives.
His emergence became evident on Friday following the appearance of campaign banners and other branded campaign materials bearing the NDC logo and his image across parts of Okitipupa, signalling the start of his campaign.
Widely recognised for his humanitarian activities, Kenny Kunma has built a reputation for investing in education, youth empowerment and community development across Okitipupa/Irele Federal Constituency.
His interventions include scholarships, educational support, skills acquisition programmes and other initiatives aimed at improving opportunities for students, young people and citizens across the constituency.
