The City Boy Movement, Okitipupa Local Government Chapter, has held its first executive meeting, marking a milestone in efforts to strengthen its grassroots structure and coordination.
In a statement signed by its Publicity Secretary, Sajo Oluwakemi, and released on Tuesday, April 21, 2026, the group said deliberations at the meeting focused on promoting growth, unity, and operational effectiveness across the local government, alongside the inauguration of newly appointed executives.

The newly announced executives are:
• Dayo Dairo – Assistant Coordinator
• Olatunji Olarinde – General Secretary
• Akinbila Olabode – Assistant Secretary
• Akinnubi Michael – Treasurer
• Omotunise Ayodeji – Organising Secretary
• Sajo Oluwakemi – Publicity Secretary
• Olarewaju Ayodeji – Youth Coordinator
• Temitope George – Women Coordinator
• Prince Adeoye Omoleminu – Director of Students Mobilisation
• Mudinat Abdulganiyu – Welfare Director
Speaking at the meeting, the Local Government Coordinator, Prince Oluwaseun Akinnubi, congratulated the newly appointed executives and charged them to uphold the values of unity, loyalty, and dedication. He stressed that teamwork, mutual respect, and a shared vision are critical to the movement’s success.
Also speaking, the General Secretary, Akogun Olarinde Williams, emphasised the need for strategic planning, discipline, and collective effort. He urged members to remain focused on building a new generation of capable and visionary leaders committed to service.

In his remarks, the Director of Students Mobilisation, Prince Adeoye Omoleminu, commended the leadership of the movement at all levels for their commitment and guidance. He highlighted the importance of sustained student engagement and mobilisation, describing young people as key to advancing the movement’s vision.

Other members of the executive council also expressed their commitment to the growth of the organisation. The Publicity Secretary, Sajo Oluwakemi, reaffirmed plans to enhance the movement’s public image and ensure effective communication across platforms.
The meeting ended on a positive note, with members expressing optimism and readiness to work collectively for the progress of the movement.
