The Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ondo State, Hon. Kolawole Babatunde, has charged party members to embark on door-to-door mobilisation for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and other APC candidates ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Babatunde gave the directive at a ward meeting with party members in Ifira, his hometown in Akoko South-East Local Government Area of Ondo State, on Friday, October 23, 2026. He stressed the need for sustained grassroots engagement and unity to secure victory for the party.

The APC chairman urged members to take the party’s message directly to residents and mobilise support for Tinubu’s re-election bid and other APC candidates contesting for seats in the Senate, House of Representatives and Ondo State House of Assembly.

He said electoral success depended on consistent engagement with voters at the grassroots, adding that every party member had a responsibility to contribute to the party’s growth and electoral fortunes.

Babatunde also urged party leaders and members to intensify sensitisation on Permanent Voter Card (PVC) collection, calling on eligible voters to collect their cards and participate in the electoral process.

He said achieving the target of one million votes set by the party’s leader in the state, Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, required deliberate planning, effective grassroots mobilisation and active participation by party members across the state.
