The Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ondo State, Hon. Kolawole Babatunde, has called on the people of Ondo State, particularly members and supporters of the APC, to take advantage of the ongoing voter card collection exercise by ensuring that they collect their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) before the exercise closes.

The Chairman noted that the party’s aspiration to achieve its one-million-vote target for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and other APC candidates begins with grassroots mobilisation, voter awareness, and the active participation of eligible voters. He therefore urged party leaders, ward executives, youth groups, women groups, and other stakeholders to intensify sensitisation efforts across the 18 local government areas of the state.

According to the Chairman, the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the Ease Agenda of Ondo State Governor, His Excellency, Dr. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, have made civic participation an important aspect of democratic engagement. He encouraged eligible voters to exercise their democratic rights by ensuring that they possess their PVCs and participate in the electoral process.
