The Chairman of Ikale North Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Hon. Kowe Odunayo Kalusa, has commended Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa of Ondo State over what he described as his visionary leadership and commitment to infrastructural development and improved service delivery across the state.
Kalusa gave the commendation in a statement, noting that recent policy decisions by the administration were already having positive impacts on healthcare delivery and infrastructural growth.
He described the recruitment of over 930 health professionals across the 18 local government areas of the state as a major intervention capable of strengthening the healthcare system and improving access to medical services, particularly at the grassroots.
According to him, the recruitment exercise reflects the governor’s commitment to addressing manpower gaps in the health sector and improving service delivery across public health facilities.
He also highlighted ongoing and approved infrastructural projects, including the construction of a 2.38-kilometre flyover bridge in Akure, rehabilitation of major roads, canalisation projects, the rehabilitation of Owena Dam and the upgrade of Rufus Giwa Polytechnic, Owo, to a University of Agriculture and Technology.
Kalusa said the projects demonstrate the administration’s focus on sustainable development, economic growth, improved transportation, education, healthcare advancement and general welfare of residents.
He further commended the governor for what he described as visible development across communities in the state, adding that the initiatives would stimulate economic activities and create employment opportunities.
“The people of Ondo State are witnessing purposeful governance under the leadership of Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa,” he said.
He assured the governor of continued support and cooperation from the people of Ikale North LCDA, while urging sustained commitment to development-oriented governance across the state.
