Dr. Adeniyi Oluwamuyiwa Kenneth, a young Nigerian businessman, philanthropist, and healthcare entrepreneur, has urged young entrepreneurs across Africa to develop the courage to start over whenever life and business do not go according to plan.
Speaking during a leadership gathering on Tuesday, June 2, which also coincided with his birthday, Dr. Muyiwa Kenneth shared insights from his personal and professional journey, encouraging participants not to allow temporary failures to stop them from pursuing their goals.
According to him, many people abandon their dreams after experiencing setbacks, not because they lack ability, but because they lose the confidence to try again.
He noted that success is rarely a straight path and that many successful business leaders have had to rebuild after experiencing losses, disappointments, and unexpected challenges.
“Sometimes it feels like everything you worked for has collapsed. In those moments, you must find the strength to stand up again, learn from the experience, and continue moving forward,” he said.
Dr. Muyiwa Kenneth also emphasized the importance of building sustainable structures rather than chasing quick results. He encouraged young business owners to focus on creating systems, maintaining discipline, and making decisions that support long-term growth.
He further advised participants to keep their faith in God, stating that faith often becomes most important during difficult seasons when results are not immediately visible.
The session attracted young professionals, entrepreneurs, and aspiring business owners, many of whom described the discussion as practical, encouraging, and relevant to the realities faced by young people building businesses in today’s economy.
The event concluded with a call for resilience, personal responsibility, and a commitment to keep pushing forward regardless of challenges.
For many in attendance, the message was simple: setbacks may slow the journey, but they do not have to define the destination.
