The Oyo State Chapter of the National Prayer Support Group for Good Governance (NPSGGG) has paid a courtesy visit to the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate for the 2027 Oyo State governorship election, Senator (Barr.) Sharafadeen Abiodun Alli, at his residence in New Bodija, Ibadan.
According to a statement signed by the Ibadan North-East Coordinator of NPSGGG, Hon. Abdullahi Ajibola Bello, the visit provided an opportunity for “a fruitful and engaging discussion on our shared aspirations and how we can work hand in hand towards achieving our objectives ahead of the 2027 General Elections.”
The delegation was warmly received by Barr. Sharafadeen Alli, with the meeting providing an opportunity for meaningful discussions on shared aspirations and ways of working together ahead of the 2027 general elections.
A key focus of the engagement was grassroots mobilisation and active voter participation.
“Barr. Sharafadeen Alli emphasized the importance of grassroots mobilization and active voter participation, noting the increasing role and power of voters under the new electoral framework.”
The discussion further highlighted “the need for meaningful engagement with communities at the grassroots.”
The forthcoming NPSGGG Prayer Summit in Oyo State also featured in the discussions.
“Barr. Sharafadeen Alli expressed his willingness to support the initiative and pledged to provide the necessary assistance towards making the programme a success.”
The support expressed during the meeting further strengthened the shared commitment to making the forthcoming prayer summit a successful and impactful gathering.
