The Praise Dance Academy ministered at Night of Praise with Ondo State Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, held on May 29, 2026, at the International Centre for Culture and Events (The Dome), Alagbaka, Akure, Ondo State.
The programme featured a blend of worship, music and dance, drawing a vibrant gathering of youths and worshippers who filled the atmosphere with energetic praise and spiritual expression.
According to organisers, the Praise Dance Academy delivered a conceptualised African contemporary dance ministration to the song Otise by Lara George. The performance opened with a short dramatic act that transitioned into a choreographed dance presentation.
The ministration conveyed a message centred on dependence on God as the ultimate source of success, discouraging reliance on alternative means in the pursuit of life goals. The performance was met with positive reactions from attendees, who described it as a powerful ministration rather than mere performance.
“It was not just a performance but ministration as we were all blessed,” an attendee said.
The atmosphere at the event was described as lively and spiritually uplifting, with energetic youths participating actively in the worship experience through dance and praise.
Intercessory prayers for the state and the nation also formed part of the programme.
The event also featured gospel ministers Deborah Ajayi and Olusola Smart, alongside members of the Praise Dance Academy, who ministered at the event.
