FULL LIST: Three Nigerian Universities Make Africa’s Top 20 for Law

Three Nigerian universities have been ranked among Africa’s top 20 law institutions for 2026, according to the Scimago Institutions Rankings, which assesses universities based on research output, innovation and societal impact.

South Africa dominates the list with 11 universities, while Nigeria has three entries — University of Nigeria, Olabisi Onabanjo University and University of Ibadan.
