Ibukun Awosika resigns as Cadbury Nigeria Director

Cadbury Nigeria Plc has announced the resignation of its director, Mrs Ibukun Awosika, from the company’s board.

The company disclosed this in a notice to the Nigerian Exchange Limited and the investing public on Wednesday.

The notice was signed by the Company Secretary, Afolasade Olowe.

According to the statement, Awosika’s resignation will take effect from May 1, 2026.

“The Board expresses its deep appreciation to Mrs. Awosika for her valued contribution since his
appointment in October 2009,” the statement read.

Cadbury Nigeria added that a replacement for the outgoing director would be announced in due course.

Awosika, a prominent business leader, is a former Chairman of First Bank of Nigeria Limited and founder of The Chair Centre Group. She joined the board of Cadbury Nigeria in 2009 and has served for over 15 years.
