The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) has released updated results from its ongoing recruitment exercise, unveiling candidates’ examination scores and reopening its official portal for applicants moving into the next stage.
The development follows widespread concerns from candidates after the online examination concluded, during which the recruitment portal became intermittently inaccessible. The situation fuelled uncertainty as unverified information circulated among applicants. The board has now restored access and published verified data directly on its platform.
According to figures released on the portal, a total of 1,120,491 applications were successfully completed. Meanwhile, 432,935 applications were recorded as incomplete, while 360,923 were disqualified due to issues identified during the screening process.
The board also published a detailed breakdown of performance in the examination. A total of 221,996 candidates scored between 0 and 40, while 229,155 scored between 41 and 60. In addition, 278,543 candidates fell within the 61 to 80 range, 108,142 scored between 81 and 90, and 34,555 candidates achieved scores between 91 and 100.
CDCFIB emphasised that advancement to the next stage of the recruitment process will be strictly merit-based. It noted that only top-performing candidates from each state will be shortlisted for further screening, reinforcing its commitment to transparency and fairness in the exercise.
