City Boy Movement Inaugurates Ondo Exco, Unveils State Leadership

The City Boy Movement in Ondo State has inaugurated its state executive council, announcing key appointments at its maiden executive meeting aimed at strengthening the group’s structure and operations.

The development, according to a statement issued on Monday by the movement’s Director of Media and Communications, Oluyemi Fasipe, marks a significant step towards consolidating its presence and coordinating activities across the state.

At the meeting, Oluwafemi Ayejusunle was named State Director, while Hon. Tomide Akinribido emerged as State Coordinator. Fasipe was also confirmed as Director of Media and Communications, with Hon. Princess Wunmi Fayemi appointed as State Women Coordinator and Temitope Iwagun as State Treasurer.

Other members of the executive include Paul Adeniyi as State Zonal Coordinator (Central), Abiodun Oriade as Director of Special Duties, and Dr. Omosehin Adeyemi-Osowe as Head of Medical Directorate.

The statement added that Lemuel Akinyele, Olabode Asogbon, and Temitope Eladiya were also named as members of the state executive, alongside other officials assigned to various roles. Bukunmi Olagbegi was announced as the Patron of the movement in Ondo State.

Fasipe said the meeting focused on charting a clear direction for the group, enhancing internal structure, and outlining strategies for expansion, engagement, and future activities.

“The newly constituted executive team is committed to building a strong, organised, and people-driven movement, while working closely with members and stakeholders across Ondo State,” the statement read.

He added that the inaugural meeting signalled the beginning of a new phase for the movement, as it intensifies efforts to broaden its reach and deepen its impact across the state.
