The National Association of University Students (NAUS), Campus Monitoring Committee, Ondo State, through the Office of the Vice Chairman, Comrade Julius Adeleke Adeboyekun popularly known as Richmond, presents ‘Know Your Rights as a Student,’ a student sensitization program focused on educating university students about their academic, welfare, and fundamental rights within and beyond the campus environment.
The program, themed ‘Students’ Advocacy & Awareness Initiative,’ is designed to empower students with the knowledge needed to better understand their rights, responsibilities, and the proper channels for addressing issues affecting them in higher institutions.
Across many campuses, students often face challenges such as academic victimization, harassment, welfare neglect, and limited awareness of their legal protections. This program seeks to bridge that gap by providing students with the right information and expert guidance.
Participants will gain insights into how to identify violations of their rights and understand the appropriate steps to take when seeking redress through institutional and legal channels.
