Former presidential candidate, Dele Momodu, on Thursday officially joined the African Democratic Congress, ADC.

Momodu made the declaration in Benin City, the Edo State Capital, while addressing his followers.

He noted that he was promoting the interest of the people and not running for any office in the state.

Momodu said, “And I came home for the first time and I coordinated everything, then it took me over 50 years, you won’t believe it, of excruciating hard work and meticulous planning to plant a home from my modest income in Iwe.

“So today, nobody can say Dele has no roots in Iwe. today, I am standing before you, my friends, as I humbly reintegrate myself into the political process of my state.

“People have asked me, what do you want? Do you want to be a governor, a senator? No. I just want to promote the best interests of our people.”
